The Sales Department at CPS Homes is an ever-expanding area of the company that continues to produce great results. With property prices up nearly 10% since April 2009, and set to continue to rise, it is clear that the housing market is showing a steady recovery while the rest of the economy continues to struggle.
It is this recovery that has tempted buyers back into the market as they look to buy property while prices are still rising. We have been extremely busy showing prospective buyers our large portfolio of properties, with investment opportunities disappearing off the market in a matter of weeks or even days.
At £185*, CPS Homes offers an unbelievably competitive rate for Home Information Packs (HIPs). Initially, a “Mini HIP” is organised in an extremely short period of time so that the property can be put on the market as soon as possible. A full HIP follows only a week later; with all of the essential documents enclosed, as well as any additional documents as requested.
The Home Information Pack (also known as a HIP) is compulsory for most homes on the market in England and Wales. Important changes were made to the law surrounding the buying and selling of houses on the 6th of April 2009. You can now get a HIP for a property as soon as it comes on the market.
A HIP is made up of a set of documents that provides the buyer with key information on the property and must be provided by the seller or the seller’s agent. It is a legal requirement to have one and you cannot market your property without it.
The HIP gives buyers important information about the property at the start of the process, free of charge. This means that there is less chance of buyers encountering any surprises further down the line; thus helping to reduce delays and any extra expense to both buyer and seller.
For more information on HIPs, or for any other queries you might have regarding sales, please contact Stephanie on 02920 454555. Alternatively, feel free to use our online valuation request service on the right-hand side of any of the CPS Homes website pages.
Happy house hunting!
