Albany Road in Roath is home to pretty much all of the biggest estate agents in Cardiff, including us.
CPS Homes are delighted to announce that John Pinn has been elected the new chairman of the Association of Letting and Management Agents (ALMA). ALMA is a self-regulating organisation of letting agents throughout South Wales that promotes best practice, and its agent members are regarded as demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism and service, promoting best practice within the industry. ALMA works extremely closely with Cardiff County Council and debates current topics to make certain that the very latest information and legislation is passed onto the agents' landlords.
John has been working for CPS Homes for four years and brings a wealth of experience to ALMA. He specialises in HMO legislation and property development and has previously set up his own letting agency. John has been involved in all sides of the industry for many years, as well as holding a Masters in Real Estate Management and an award in Property Lettings & Management from the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP).
As the new chair of ALMA, one of John's most important jobs will be to co-ordinate a reply from all ALMA agents to the "Proposals for a Better Private Rented Sector in Wales" consultation document that we recently sent out to our landlords for their input. And as if he’s not busy enough, John will also be co-ordinating a separate response from CPS Homes and would welcome any comments to be sent to feedback@cpshomes.co.uk
John will be working closer than ever with Cardiff County Council and building upon relationships to make sure that CPS Homes gets to have a say on any new proposals, meaning we’re able to provide our clients with access to the latest information and ensure their opinions are heard at the earliest possible opportunity. Thanks and good luck John!
