Albany Road in Roath is home to pretty much all of the biggest estate agents in Cardiff, including us.
We’re very pleased to announce that we've recorded a 50% increase in the number of properties let this summer compared to last; another fantastic piece of news in an already very successful 2013 for CPS Homes.
And if that wasn't enough, we've also documented a record number of landlords asking us to source tenants for their properties.
We've housed far more young professionals than ever before, which has coincided with an increase in the number of flats we've rented out, demonstrating that the student to professional transition regularly means a downsize in both the size of the property they occupy and the number of housemates they choose to live with. And away from the young professional market, we continue to house students, postgraduates and families in the same numbers.
As well as housing new tenants, we've also seen an increase in the number of people electing to stay where they are and renewing their tenancies for an extended period, which makes our record figures all the more impressive.
Perhaps our success isn’t too surprising, rather the size of the improvement is unexpected. Regardless of how challenging market conditions and our competitors prove to be, as a company that grows wiser and gains more experience year-on-year, we always expect to outperform ourselves, but we don’t really have a definitive answer for such a big increase this time around.
Factors we've considered are our recent re-brand, our sponsorship of Cardiff Blues and the refurbishment of our three branches, all of which will have had a significant impact on our exposure to our target market.
But we’re very much aware that a quality brand must be backed up by a quality service, which is why we’re pleased to report that we've had more recommendations from our customers than we've ever registered previously.
Without our tenants, landlords, buyers and vendors, we’d struggle to be where we are today. Recommendations don’t come from thin air - they come from satisfied customers - and we’re extremely grateful for them. We look forward to working with each and every one of you over the next few years as we continue to grow and expand.
Whatever your situation, we've got the property or service for you, so why not contact us on our website or catch us on Twitter, Facebook and Google+?
