Albany Road in Roath is home to pretty much all of the biggest estate agents in Cardiff, including us.
With the student lettings season fast approaching, we’ll soon be inundated with property viewings for the 2014/2015 academic year, so we've decided to make sure that every student is fully aware of the renting process with the release of CPS Homes' first student rental magazine and the first of its kind in Cardiff!
‘Where To?’ will soon appear around Cardiff and the one-stop-ship for everything relating to student housing. Whether you've rented a property previously and have gone through the entire process from check-in to check-out, or if you’re brand new to the lettings world and haven’t the first clue where to start, this magazine is the essential guide for you.
It aims to arm students with all they’ll need to know before they even begin to look for somewhere new to live. Our Student FAQs page provides answers to the most common – and some uncommon – questions that are put to us, while our double-page map of the most popular student areas in Cardiff allows readers to plot their place of residence against their place of study.
“Having rented student houses previously, I know there’s a distinct lack of information available to students when they start looking for somewhere to live after university halls”, said Marketing Co-ordinator, Chris Williams.
“We ended up going to the first letting agent we saw on the street and living in the third house we viewed. Throughout the entire process we didn't have a clue what was going on or why we were signing certain forms. ‘Where To?’ is a step towards empowering the students with all the knowledge they need, allowing them to make an informed decision and fully understand the process before committing to a property they may never have taken previously.”
You can view a PDF version of the magazine. Alternatively, you can view a whole host of properties available to rent. Also check out the CPS Homes website from the 1st November to view our 2014/2015 student property lists.
