They say that 'mighty oaks from little acorns grow', and after enjoying a fantastic spring, our sales team continue to go from strength-to-strength. In the increasingly buoyant sales market, and with the continued support of local home-owners, we'll need to increase our stock of 'sold' boards this summer!
Having sold a number of properties in Penylan and Roath within a week of coming to market (and one on the same day recently!), vendors are realising that we understand our market well. We see and appreciate the improvements they've made, why they bought the property in the first place, and the type of buyer their home will appeal to. Armed with all this info, we can match their home to our database of awaiting buyers perfectly.
We also offer vendors advice on how best to present their home, which, when combined with our eye-catching brochures and comprehensive marketing approach, means we’re achieving the best prices for their properties.
This individual and effective service has meant quicker sales – and word seems to be spreading. Our valuation requests have rocketed so far this year, resulting in a vast increase in the number of sales we've seen this year compared to last.
We may be smaller than many of our local competitors – some of which have branches across the UK – but we are mighty! We’re focused on Cardiff and Cardiff only. We enjoy the city and its people, which is why you’ll see us supporting local charities and events, such as Marlborough Primary School’s fete and The Great Roath Bake Off 2014. We also produce our own local magazine called ‘cwtch’. Let’s hope we continue to impress!
“I worked at Darlows’ Roath branch for over 8 years before joining CPS Homes, and I’ve never known there to be as much interest in this area before. Houses in Penylan, Roath and Splott, as well as further north in Pontprennau, Pentwyn and Llanedeyrn, are being taken on and sold in next-to-no-time, which is making my working days whizz by!
I really like the company ethos here. You can really tell they care about a customer’s service, and aftersales care is as important as the 'sale' itself, which means I’m allowed the time to give my customers the attention and time they deserve.”
“It has to be a teatime treat at Waterloo Tea Gardens. Strictly reserved for days off, of course ;)”

Sian, Senior Sales Advisor at our Albany Road, Roath branch says:
"One of my favourite aspects of the job is to walk down a street and see how different each house has been made to look. That’s what I love – people who take great pride and care in making sure their home is the best it can be. I enjoy finding out why a seller has preserved certain features of their house and added modern touches elsewhere. It fascinates me!”
“I love to have a peek in Paperweight on Wellfield Rd as they have lovely gifts and cards, but watching the world by as I’m sat by the window in Coffee #1 is my absolute favourite!”

Bradley, Sales Manager at our James Street, Cardiff Bay branch says:
“People often ask me whether I get bored working in the Bay as ‘all Cardiff Bay apartments are the same’, apparently. The truth is, this is where sales is so different to lettings. People are able to put their own stamp on something, and it’s often not so much the homes themselves you love, it’s more the views the different apartments have to offer. You just don't get that in any other part of Cardiff. Some still take my breath away."
“I love walking over the barrage from Penarth to Mermaid Quay with my wife, young daughter and our dog. Then I round it off with a cooked breakfast at Terra Nova in the Bay – ideally overlooking the water in the sun!
